Friends, I Have A Few

I have come to meet a lot of different people in LA and most of them probably think I'm a bitch. I don't blame them.

I have been through a lot of rocky friendships throughout the past few years, which is probably why I now have a lot of trust issues when making friends.

At this point I have come to realize that when you're living in a big city like LA and you're going out every weekend you can't really trust everyone you meet. I'm a very complicated person when it comes to making new friends. I can be really harsh, and trust me first impressions are really important. On the other side I can be the nicest person with someone I actually like and get a good vibe from. One thing I have come to realize in LA is how people with a big social media following carry themselves at all these events. I'm not saying that's wrong to each their own, but what frustrates me is how fake people act around these people. And trust me, I've seen it happen around me all the time.

I believe that a person should always draw a line between their social life and their personal life. Which is why I'm always really picky and harsh when it comes to meeting new people. Specially because you don't know who might be being nice to you just to use you.

I don't have a lot of friends but i do know a lot of people.

But when it comes to close friends I easily let them into my life and would go out of my way to do anything for them. I also forgive a lot of things, let them slide and give any chances. I have recently ended a friendship that was mostly one sided once I look back at it. I'm not saying I regret anything because I learned a lot from the friendship, mostly to quit giving so many chances to someone who doesn't deserve them. I'm not going to go into full detail because it's not worth ranting about and wasting more time thinking about.

This past weekend I went up to Malibu to meet up with two of my newest friends, Victoria and Ysi. I met these two girls at a release party through Roxi. I've been friends with Roxi for quite some time now and have been through a lot of things that have brought us close together. When Roxi introduced me to Vic and Ysi I was surprisingly nice and gave them a chance only because they knew Roxi and trust me I do not regret it at all! I haven't spent a lot of time together with them as I would like but they have probably been the most fun and genuine girls I have met in a long time.

We made plans for this past Sunday to dedicate it to spending it at the beach since Ysi lives down PCH. We actually only spent about a hour at the beach. Ysi ended up driving us around Malibu and showing us all of her favorite spots. She took us to this little Mexican restaurant where I had the best chorizo burrito I've ever had, it was actually the first chorizo burrito I've had but it was still delicious. We then ended up just driving around Malibu until we ended up at a frozen yogurt place.

I've been up near Malibu many times but never to the spots Ysi took us. It felt like I was somewhere completely different, the vibe and the mood was just so calm and peaceful. I LOVED IT
