Forgive and Forget

One of the good things about this month so far (which is actually my birthday month) is that I've been able to rekindle my friendship with my old best friend. What's funny though is that I never thought we'd see each other and make up outside a Halloween party without it turning into a Heidi Montag vs Lauren Conrad argument (you know what I mean, that episode were Lauren is at the club screaming "you know what you did!")

I strongly believe that sometimes things happen for a reason and I feel like we had to part ways years back so we could both grow and learn from life on our own. I also really believe that people who are meant to be in your life will always gravitate back towards you and I think Michelle is one of those people. It just feels so good to finally be able to talk to her about the way our friendship ended and know that we can move on from certain things and just be able to be friends again. I guess sometime you really can forgive and forget!

This past week Michelle and I had one of our first dates and I had so much fun!
I mean honestly, how can I not enjoy a good meal, shopping and a walk through the Norton Simon Museum. We're not putting any labels on it so let's see how this goes! (LOL)
