Together As One

It’s been about 30 hours since a 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit Mexico, less than two weeks after an 8.4 magnitude hit Mexico and right after Hurricane Max hit the southern part of Mexico.

I am still in shock watching the news and trying to stay updated with everything going on. My heart aches seeing how scared and helpless everyone is. I can’t even begin to imagine what it must feel like to know that one of your loved ones is buried under all the rubble frantically waiting to be saved. It breaks my heart seeing how scared and desperate all the parents are while they wait to hear news about their children who are trapped under the elementary school that collapsed. Keep in mind that it wasn’t just Mexico City that was affected by the earthquake; Toluca, Cuernavaca, Puebla, Guerrero, and Oaxaca were also damaged.

This hurts so much because this is my country, those are my people hurting and I feel so useless not being able to do anything.

All I can really do is donate and beg all of you to please donate at least $2, at this point anything helps. There are so many people who need the help, who have lost everything, who don't have anywhere to go, who have lost family members.

I’m begging for all of you to please donate anything and spread the word. Mexico needs all the help they can get.
