Take Me To Halloweentown!

While growing up, Halloween was one of the -- most exciting holidays.Talking about costume ideas with friends weeks in advance was the essence of Halloween.

I always wanted to be the best dressed back in elementary school, since the best dressed would always get a really cool prize at the end of the costume parade. I remember how both of my parents would come in before each parade to help me with my costume as well as make-up.  Those were the good old days! Sixth grade was where all the joy in dressing up and parading around school ended, now the only excitement was provided through Disney Channel’s Halloween movies.

This past week I have been feeling rather pukey, so there is a high chance that’ll end up taking Milo trick-or-treating, and call it a night. Partying no longer holds the appeal it used to, partying only leads to undesirable interaction between the usual party-goers. Choosing trick-or-treating over partying with my friends while they’re on their phones all night listening to “Hotline Bling,” is an easy choice.

Aside from dealing with the party atmosphere, I don’t want to risk loosing my life on the freeway like last year. SMH!

So while all my friends are out being hoes and dancing to "Monster Smash" I'll be in bed watching a few of my favorite Halloween/ scary movies.

I've made a list of my top 10 movies to watch on Halloween night if you also end up staying home.

1. The Addams Family (1991)
